The old widow Fossett - the richest woman in the world - has died, leaving behind a hidden treasure!
 
Four Fossett parrots, which hold the secret of the hidden treasure, have disappeared. Can Elizabeth find her precious Cherubino (one of the missing parrots) with the assistance of Filbert, a private detective, or will the treasure, and Cherubino, be lost forever?
 
Victorian Opera's brand new Australian commission for children is a collaboration between composer Stuart Greenbaum and poet Ross Baglin, to be performed by Company X, the Primary and Secondary branch of Victorian Youth Opera.
